Grooming, washing and tips on how to care for piggies

Hello guy's :-) I have groomed all my piggies and washed them. Beatrix was the best with washing and Marigold was quite good but we haven't washed Sweetpea because she isn't tame enough yet (though I have groomed her). Ok now for the tips. well not really tips this is what you need to do. ( by the way http://www.jackiesguineapiggies.com/ is a really good website).

ok so clean out the newspaper and hay bedding everyday and replace with new hay and paper. throw away the solid food and treats as they will be dry and rubbish by the morning. Then clean out the bottle every 3 to 4 days as it will not need cleaning out so much. I bought a 99p silver dish (smaller then proper dishes it's very small) and I chop up all the veggies and fruit into small pieces and put them in the dish for my piggies pignic. Groom guinea pigs every 2 days out of a week for short hair, and everyday for long hair. wash guinea pigs every 4 months. give them a small pignic of grub every day twice. one morning and other afternoon. love N!amh x

NOOOOOO mum has put the grey bottle cover over the water bottle because of Sweetpea feroucisouly tugging on the water bottle. Hopefully it won't work though then I won't get much sleep typical.

awwwww Isn't Marigold cute. Beatrix has ben picked up 11 or 12 times now I think. it could be less.

Hey earthlings Isn't Sweetpea cute you see that grey bottle behind Sweetpea? I found out that that is a cover (thank goodness it's looks soooo dull!) the bottle is clear with a green top. last night Sweetpea was ferociously tugging on the bottle and woke mum up from across the landing!

Hi everybody aren't they cute. I cleaned them out this morning. I have cuddled Beatrix about 4 or 5 times and I have cuddled Marigold once I also groomed them then aswell. I did get Sweetpea but she was running really fast on the spot And now Marigold is teeth chattering at me which is not a good sign. I'm going to weigh them today.

I like the name Illusion a lot but what piggy would suit that name. anyway do you think my wallpaper suits the piggy theme? Hi everybody my name is Niamh and I am 9.
On this blog I will tell you a little bit about how to care for guinea pigs and tell you about mine.
you probably know my other blog http://www.fizzy-sherbert.blogspot.com/ or you have seen my mum's http://www.no-time-for-housework.blogspot.com/
anyway I went to a animal care course about 2 weeks ago and I decided I wanted guinea pigs.
One of my mum's friends was looking on Preloved and found 3 female guinea pigs for free so she emailed us the details and I looked and I thought these look lovely. So I emailed P and she got in touch with the family and gave them our phone number.
Then just today the family rang to say we could have a look at them and arranged a time.

TOMORROW! AT HALF ONE. Mum says if I'm good I could take them home tomorrow as we're buying the hutch theyv'e got for sale aswell.
I can't wait.
